US police arrests woman for assault on Indian Americans: ‘I hate you Indians…’

Police in Texas on Thursday arrested an individual after a video of her assaulting a bunch of 4 Indian-American girls surfaced and went viral through which she is abusing them and asking them to return to India.

The incident came about on Wednesday night time in a car parking zone of Dallas, Texas. The woman, who has now been arrested, is seen within the video figuring out herself as a Mexican-American and assaulting a bunch of Indian Americans.

“I hate you Indian. All these Indians come to America as a result of they need a greater life,” the woman is seen saying within the video, whereas repeatedly dropping the f-bomb.

The video has now gone viral and despatched shock waves among the many Indian-American neighborhood throughout the United States. The Mexican-American woman has been recognized as Esmeralda Upton of Plano.

The one who posted this video wrote that “this incident occurred in Dallas, Texas after my mother and her three buddies went to dinner”.

The mother is seen contesting the arguments made by the Mexican-American woman and requesting her to not make racial slurs. At one level of time, the Mexican-American woman, who says she was born within the United States, is seen assaulting the mother and her different buddies as effectively.

“Everywhere I … go, you Indians are … in all places,” she is seen screaming within the video. “If life was so nice in India, why you are right here,” she shouted whereas inserting the f-word and abruptly started assaulting the 4 Indian girls.

Plano Police Detectives arrested Esmeralda Upton of Plano on Thursday afternoon. She has been charged with assault, bodily damage and one for terroristic threats and is being held on a complete bond quantity of $10,000.

“This is so scary. She truly had a gun and needed to shoot as a result of these Indian-American girls had accents whereas talking English. Disgusting. This terrible woman must be prosecuted for a hate crime,” Reema Rasool mentioned on Twitter.
