SHOCK SHOT Wendy’s shooting kills 35-year-old man after employee-customer row

A man is shot and killed while arguing with employees at the window of Wendy’s drive-thru.

Police were called by Wendy’s in Wichita, Kansas shortly after 11:30 pm on Friday.

A 35-year-old man got into a fight with restaurant employees at the drive-thru window.

As the discussion intensified, a 32-year-old man in the vehicle behind him became involved.

“They were all armed with rifles,” a police spokesman told KWCH.

“We know the shots have been fired. We are still investigating how many shots have been fired and are trying to determine if only one or both people fired. ”

The 35-year-old man was killed in the shooting and the 32-year-old man was in police custody. The two men did not know each other, authorities said.

No one else was injured in the shooting, and investigators spoke with employees and witnesses to further investigate the crime.

The identities of the people involved in the shooting have not yet been disclosed.
