Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit in Samarkand throughout which they reviewed bilateral relations and mentioned ways to deepen cooperation in diverse sectors.
The two leaders are in the historic Uzbek metropolis of Samarkand to attend the SCO summit.

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi stated the 2 leaders had “helpful discussions” in the course of the assembly.
“Leaders reviewed bilateral relations and appreciated current features in bilateral commerce. Also exchanged views on regional & world developments,” he tweeted.
