Former Jets and Packers tight finish Tyrone Davis died on Oct. 2 on the age of fifty, the team announced on Wednesday.

It’s unknown right now Davis’s reason for demise.

The Virginia native was drafted within the fourth spherical by the Jets in 1995. He entered the draft as a large receiver earlier than altering his place to tight finish in his second NFL season. He performed two seasons in New York.

Ahead of the 1997 season, Davis was traded to the Packers. He performed in Green Bay by the 2002 season, beginning in 27 of 69 recreation appearances and serving to the crew attain Super Bowl XXXII in his first season, although they misplaced to the Broncos.
