Floki Distillery in Iceland uses poop to flavor their whiskey (and it's good.)

The northernmost distillery I’ve discovered is outdoors of Reykjavik in Iceland. Named Floki after the Norse God, it produces small batches of a few of the most interesting whiskeys and Brennivíns I’ve ever had. What’s extra they do it in the outdated custom, utilizing sheep dung to smoke their whiskey as a substitute of the non-existent peat. Furthermore, they solely use Icelandic grain, which itself is extraordinarily uncommon given the excessive latitude, and provides their spirits a fully unique flavor that can have Scotland running for it is money.
