Boucher to step down as South Africa coach after T20 World Cup

South Africa coach Mark Boucher will depart his post after the Twenty20 World Cup in Australia later this 12 months to pursue “different alternatives according to his future profession and private aims”, officers mentioned on Monday.

The announcement got here hours after South Africa misplaced their three-match check collection in England. Former wicketkeeper Boucher, who performed 147 exams for South Africa, has been within the function since December 2019 and had been contracted till the top of the 2023 50-over World Cup in October subsequent 12 months.
